About

I am an environmental historian who studies how social and ecological inequalities have shaped Latin America’s past and continue to influence its present.

My work combines multiple methods and media to not only research but also share history with audiences inside and beyond academia. By bringing together archival research, cartography, oral history, and soundscapes, I am interested in developing innovative tools for teaching, public history, and collaborative knowledge creation.
